Training Camps

Join us in Clermont, Florida for a week of swimming, biking and running in the sun.  Clermont is Florida’s triathlon hub so it’s not uncommon to see many pros training there during the winter months.  Clermont offers beautiful lakes, quiet rolling country roads, miles of paved trails, the iconic Orange Grove Clay Trail as well as a fantastic outdoor pool at the National Training Centre.  It’s the ideal spot for a winter training getaway.

Once again we are hosting two weeks.  Last year both weeks were sold out by December so don’t hesitate to claim your spot.

Week One:

February 2 to 8th,2020 - Fierce Females (22-25 kph average speed over a rolling terrain long ride).

This camp is geared towards the female triathlete that is either just starting out in triathlon or tends to be a middle to back of the pack athlete.  The goal of this camp is to provide a fun, inclusive environment for women that have always wanted to go to a triathlon camp but were too intimidated.

We keep the coach to athlete ratio low (4 athletes to 1 coach) so you will get plenty of feedback on technique and skills.

We will be providing all meals at the house so you can focus on training and recovery.  Meals out are at the athletes’ expense. We will be including 2 bottles of wine + a 6 pack of beer for those so inclined.

Sunday - Camp starts 2pm - OWS (shake out swim) in Lake Minneola + Epic Intro Coffee.  Evening Nutrition seminar.

Monday - OWS @ Lake Minneola, Bike Skills and Brutal Brick Day (Lake Louisa) + transitions.  Goal setting session in evening (Part 1)

Tuesday - NTC swim (morning) Supported Bakery Ride (85k + optional Sugarloaf add on)(afternoon) + bike maintenance seminar in the evening

Wednesday - Long Run - Clay trail (morning), Easy Spin / Recovery ride 90-120 minutes (late morning).  Afternoon group mobility session. Goal setting session in evening (Part 2)

Thursday - NTC long course swim in a.m + short strength session.  Afternoon yoga class.

Friday -  Van Fleet Ride (3-4 hours) + 20-30 minute run.  Camp dinner out.

Saturday - Wintergarden Ride (~45 km).  Camp ends at 2:00 pm

Week Two:

February 16 to 22nd, 2020 - Intermediate (26 - 29kph average speed over a rolling terrain long ride)

This camp is geared towards the intermediate athlete that is looking to get some early season outdoor training. This week is all about you, so you can focus on a higher training volume and enjoy your recovery. Train and recover like a pro! Again, we keep the coach to athlete ratio low (4 athletes to 1 coach) so you will get plenty of feedback on technique and skills.  We will be providing all meals at the house so you can focus on training and recovery.  Meals out are at the athletes’ expense. We will be including 2 bottles of wine + a 6 pack of beer for those so inclined.  This year we've rolled the cost of accommodation into the camp costs.  If you are planning on staying elsewhere, please let us know so we can adjust your rate.
